MARCHEN Women: Behind the busy and orderly city life there are many invisible labors that keep it running. Behind every piece of clothing is the common sweat and pay of many people. As a designer, I stand in front of the stage. This series is intended to record those craftsmen who worked with me for the birth of clothes but who are not seen behind the scenes. They are just like the stars that are still visible but still shining in the daytime, and gently hide their own light. The MARCHEN Women's Spring/Summer 2016 collection was inspired by the girl's door in a workshop surrounded by aprons in a work shirt. By combining different fabrics with different textures and weights, the garments combine the seriousness and durability of the shirts with the feminine romance of the women. The series is intended to show that harmony is not seen, and that trivial and boring labor hidden behind the clothes pay tribute. Just like the repeated skirt pleats give the fabric new luster and weight, the skilled craftsmanship and hard work have brought new life to the clothing. Thanks, all.
