The application of PP products in China mainly focuses on the fields of weaving, film, and injection molding. In recent years, the rapid development of domestic packaging, electronic appliances, and non-woven fabrics has increased the use of PP in these fields year by year. In China's PP resin consumption structure, weaving products consume the largest amount, accounting for 51.5% of the total consumption, injection molding, film and fiber, etc. account for a low proportion, and injection molding products account for the major share of the world PP consumption structure, especially for automobiles. 1. Woven products In recent years, the development of injection molding products and packaging films has gradually changed the consumption structure of PP in China. The percentage of PP used for drawing has declined, but woven products are still the largest area of ​​PP resin consumption.
At present, domestic PP resin can fully meet the needs of woven products, the main brands are F401 and 2401 Mitsui process, Hai Teng process T30S, and small body process PP powder and so on. The major brands of imported PP drawing materials are Japan's F601, F301, F401, Korea's H436, H730F, India's H03SG and Saudi's 500P. Plastic woven bags produced using imported resins are mainly used for export. In addition, there are approximately 150,000-300,000 tons of recycled PP resin used for drawing products in Zhejiang, Shandong, and Jiangsu each year. The quality of PP drawing products produced from recycled materials is poor. It is expected that the demand for PP drawing grade products in China will remain large for a long time, but the proportion will continue to decline.
2. The current domestic brands of injection molding products include EPS30R, J340, K8003, K8303, 1340, 1440, V30G, M2101R, M700R, M180R, K7726, 1947, SP179, EV14R, and HHP4.
More than half of PP plastic injection in China relies on imports. The imported products mainly come from South Korea, Japan, Singapore, Europe, America and the Middle East. Typical brands include J340, BJ730, 570P, AP03B, M1600, AY564, RP344R, B380G, H110MA, etc., which include block copolymers and random copolymers, and their MI The smallest value is 0.8, and the largest is more than 30. Compared with imported materials, the MI value of domestic copolymer materials of different batches of the same brand differs greatly, resulting in difficult processing and high reject rate. Many companies prefer to spend more than 300-1000 yuan/t to purchase imported materials. PP is used in the automotive industry. The main brands of domestic manufacturers' products include 1540, 1740, 1640, K8303, and K1008 of Yanhua Company, EPS30R, EPF30R of Qilu Company, and 1640 of Panjin. Chinese enterprises have made great progress in the research and development of high flow impact copolymer PP. The main brands include Yanhua K9020, K9920, K9035, K9935, Yangzi Petrochemical K9020 and K9935, Tianjin Petrochemical TJPP2027 and TJPP2028, but the domestic product melt index is 30. 3. Film products
PP films include BOPP, CPP, general packaging films, and microporous films.
BOPP film BOPP film production in China is mainly concentrated in South China and East China, and its production capacity accounts for more than 70% of the total BOPP production capacity in China. In 2004, the BOPP film production capacity reached 2 million t/a (138 production lines), the output was about 950,000 tons, and consumed about 1 million tons of BOPP raw materials. As the profit margin of producing BOPP film is large and the demand grows rapidly, the production lines have been introduced in various places, resulting in serious excess production capacity, fierce market competition, and a decline in profits. In particular, the price of PP resin has risen sharply in 2004, while the price of BOPP film has not increased. Rise and fall.
The main brands of BOPP domestic raw materials with a line speed of 250m/min and below include Qilu Petrochemical, Dalian Westpac, T36F of Daqing Petrochemical Company, T46F of Maoming Petrochemical, F280 of Shanghai Petrochemical, T38F of Tianjin Petrochemical, F1002 of Yanshan Petrochemical, Guangzhou Petrochemical F400 and so on. The F280S and Qilu Petrochemical's BOPP material line developed by Shanghai Jinshan can reach a speed of 300m/min, and has achieved industrial production. However, due to the domestic brands being in the initial stage of development and promotion, the output is far from meeting the market demand, and the self-sufficiency rate is only 20%. CPP film
The proportion of CPP in PP film is relatively small. In 2004, the output of CPP film in China was about 140,000 tons. However, with the improvement of the quality of PP resin, the improvement of equipment performance and the improvement of processing capability, the gap in performance of CPP and BOPP films is gradually narrowing. In recent years, the market situation has changed quietly. CPP has added new application areas and has seized more market share from BOPP. Most of the BOPP films produced in China use general-grade raw materials, and the characteristics of the films are limited, which weakens their competitive advantages over common CPP films. Therefore, this trend is most strongly expressed.
The raw materials used for CPP films are homopolymers, binary random copolymers, and terpolymer random copolymers.
